In this part, we will present you the best Polish team in last few years. Since their foundation, they achieved great success at the national and European level. Most of the players are part of the national selection also, giving them a lot of experience and expertise in club competitions as well. Below you may find few info about Petra Plock.
- Tell us few words about your team (when did you start to play and what was the beggining like, number of winning trophies, medals, most relevant tournaments that you have visited, some interesting story maybe?).
BHT Petra Płock was founded in 2012 by ex SPR Wisla Plock players. Our Club is an 4-time Polish Champion and 5-time winner of Polish Cup we also get 2-nd place on EBT Finals 2017 and bronze medal in Champions Cup 2015. We are selecting players only from our hometown Plock and many of us are playing in the highest indoor handball league PGNiG Superliga. We have also second team and junior teams.
- How many times have you participated on EBT Masters finals?
We played on 4 EBT Masters Final. Our best result is the 2nd place in Gaeta.

When somebody hear the name 12 Monkeys, "ordinary" people will probably think on Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt and their great movie that was released in 1995. However, to the beach handball community first thought on 12Monkeys is related to the fenomenal crew from Cologne, Germany. ABHC Zagreb had the opportunity to play against them in few occasions, and what those guys promote is essential fair play during the whole match. Here are the few answers to our question.Enjoy
1. Tell us few words about your team (when did you start to play and what was the beggining like, number of winning trophies, medals, most relevant tournaments that you have visited, some interesting story maybe?).
We have been playing as 12 Monkeys Köln since 2010 now and in that time we picked quite a
few bananas and coconuts throughout Europe. But regarding relevancy, we find one thing to
be most important: spreading #monkeylove!
2. How many times have you participated on EBT Masters finals?
This is our first attempt. But in spirit, the monkeys have always been part of the EBT Finals!
3. Write your key players and tell us few interesting notes about them.
Our key player will always be Christian Lehnert, whether or not he's actually playing. Which is because he frequently loses his keys!
4. What do you expect from EBT Masters finals in Baia Mare?
Celebrating our wonderful sport in competing with its top athletes from all across the continent. Being part of the huge extended beach handball family is what makes every tournament so special – and the EBT Finals even more so. From a competitive point of view we intend to go into every set with a lot of spirit and then just take it from there!

After two men teams, we will present you one of the best European and Hungarian women teams. Team with great history, that has constantly highly ranked in Hungary and in Europe. Together with few other Hungarian teams (Szentendrei, Lady bugs) they are responsible for the great success that Hungary team had in the past few years. We are presenting you OVB beach girls:

The OVB Beach Girls team was founded in 2002. Since then, a dominant female team in Hungary. We are a regular participant in EBT competitions.
- How many times have you participated on EBT Masters finals?
10 Masters Finals participation. One gold medal, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.

I can't and I don't want to highlight anyone. We are a team and as a team we can achieve success.

We want to go further from the group and play in the final!

Presenting the teams: v.Gaw

In this session we will present you guys from Portugal. The team v.Gaw is one of the famous Portuguese teams, that became constant value at the highest European beach handball team competition level.
Below you can find their funny answers, but we can assure you that they are funny just outside the court. During the game they are deadly serious, trying to do their best and win opposing team. They are one of the reasons why Portugal is constantly present on beach handball map, and for sure- we can expect further development and growing of this beach handball nation, partially because of them also.Enjoy

Our team started playing in the remote year of 2000. We actually won our first tournament, and we enjoyed the winning taste so much, that we already lost count of the winning trophies J

This will be the third time.

Presenting the teams: Beach Stars

For the first time in history of this competition, EBT Masters finals will be held in Romania. Baia Mare will host the best teams in both cateogories. The tournament will be held from 6-9.6.2019. In order to spread the word about the competition we will publish series of articles about the participating teams. Few weeks ago, ABHC Zagreb started to collect the interviews from participating teams and here we will present those who respond to our questionnaire. Once again, thanks all teams that took time to answer to few questions.
First team that we will present is famous Hungarian team Beach Stars.Here is their story:
Tell us few words about your team (when did you start to play and what was the beggining like, number of winning trophies, medals, most relevant tournaments that you have visited, some interesting story maybe?).
1. Our team was founded in 2002 by a group of friends. Since then, we won 2 times the EBT Finals, 4 times the Hungarian Championship and 3 times the Hungarian Cup. In 2010 we awarded the Fair Play prize at the EBT Finals in Fuengirola. Furthermore we organized 5 EBT Tournament and 1 EBT Finals as well. During the years our team name changed from time to time (Béres Vitalin, Credit Suisse, Winterthur, AXA, Budaörs), but we are the same team: Beach Stars BHC.
How many times have you participated on EBT Masters finals?

3. Our keyplayer is the TEAM. We have young and talented players, who will lead us back to the top of Europe hopefully. But if we must name some remarkable players, we are very proud of our national team players like András Nagy and Norbert Vitáris in the A national team, Balázs Glózik, György Molnár and Péter Valler in the B national team and of course of our young titans, like Bence Hornyák, Balázs Matuszka, Csanád Neukum, who participated in the first Youth Olympic in Buenos Aires 2018.
What do you expect from EBT Masters finals in Baia Mare?
4. There are 6-8 teams which are able to win the title, so we expect a very good but tough final this year, with the hope we can win a medal.
