Mounted on the wings of winning the Masters, BHC Zagreb continued with the season, playing the tournaments which are part of the Croatian beach handball tour: Čakovec open and Zagreb open.
Girls won the 3rd place in Čakovec (Detono Zagreb), while the team Chemo Profili Zagreb took the sixth place. Statistically speaking, nobody didn't have perfect tournament. It is worth to mention that our young goalkeeper Iva Matušek had 17 saves in 3 matches, while Ivana Ilić signed her debut appearance in the EBT tournament. Men team won the third place (Detono) and Chemo profili lost in the quarterfinal against Detono Zagreb. Given that the Chemo profili played very well (they won against the Budaors beach stars Budapest in the group), it is a pitty that they did not qualify to the semifinal. Of the most prominent players of the tournament it should be commended our goalkeeper Henigman, with incredible 54 defenses (more than 10 per game). If we could compare that with the saves in indoor handball where the match lasts three times longer (but there is less attack situations), it would mean that the average number of Henigman's saves would be between 20-25. Considering the fact that he is a very young goalkeeper (born 1993.), it is a nice fact that club can rely on him. Besides him, Malbašić scored 70 points with a great shooting percentage. Požeg assisted 25 times during the 4 mathes in total. Also, another newcomer to the senior team- Stjepan Babić presented himself in a good manner, scoring a couple of important goals (during the shoot-out especially) and indicated that it was a player on that club will be able to count in the future.
The tournament will be remembered by good organization. Even the storm and scaffold-demolition failed to disrupt the good organization.

11th edition of the Zagreb Open brought a handful of good and qualitative beach handball. Detono Zagreb girls reached the third place, while the Chemo profili Zagreb finished this competition in group. Little progress should be noticed in case of Iva Matušek , which had slightly higher number of saves per game (6.3 in Zagreb, compared to the previous 5.7 per game in Čakovec). Actual MVP of the Masters, Lucija Kelava, was the best scorer averaging nearly 12 goals per game.
In the men's competition Zagreb has always been extremely interesting and prestigous competition. On this tournament all „club lights“ were directed at Chemo Profili Zagreb, who have achieved the best team result in the history of Croatian competitions, winning the third-place and beating the strong opponents on their way (Salon tepiha, Let Cepelin Toma-soft, BHC Dubrava). The impact of the following players should be pointed: Hranilović (57 goals), Vutmej (41 goals), Madjerčić (44 goals), Požeg (30 goals and incredible 30 assists) and Jugović (37saves). Also, Šikoronja scored 14 goals in a single game he played at the tournament. Detono Zagreb won the tournament by defeating the BHC Sokol in the finals. Jurić was especially prominent by scoring 89 points and Sošić delivered additional 25 assists. Goalkeeper tandem Henigman - Totić maintained the number of average of saves per game (around 9), which is, of course, very commendable.
The tournament will be remembered by the fact that Detono Zagreb won consecutive quadruple Zagreb Open title. With this title Detonators became the first team with 4 Zagreb open titles.
