Mounted on the wings of winning the Masters, BHC Zagreb continued with the season, playing the tournaments which are part of the Croatian beach handball tour: Čakovec open and Zagreb open.

Upon completion of the sixth year in the club history and because of the fact the new season will begin soon, we decided to make a short review of the past season and remind all players and readers about accomplishments we've done in the past year. Our small statistics team arranged all data that we collected from the last season.

The final tournament of the best beach handball teams of the Old Continent was officially assigned, for the first time in the history of this competition, to Croatia. Thus, the town of Umag, which has been previously prove its organisational capabilities, will organize again another top level beach handball event- this time only at the club level.

Academic Beach Handball Club Zagreb will participate at the  first EBT tournament in the new season, which will be held in Einsiedeln, Switzerland (5.1.-6.1.2013). The club will be presented by one men's team (the eventual formation of the second  team is still in progress), which will participate in a very strong competition comprehended by teams from 7 different European countries.

Few days ago we have recevied couple of new informations from the EHF considering upcoming European club Beach handball championship – Masters, which will be played in Fuengirola, Spain. Judging by the new informations, most of the things was expected but there are also a few surprises.
