At the end of the 2012. European handball federation published its annual report-the document which contains 72 pages. Its traditional document contained the mentioning of Academic beach handball club Detono Zagreb.

European beach handball championships will be held in Danish Randers at the beginning of the July.Croatian selections are defending the titles in both senior categories. Our national selections are settled in group A.

Tournament Jarun Cup will be held from 27th of April until 1st of May on the courts of “SRC Jarun” for the 6th time, which brings us the beginning of the beach handball season. First organizational conference was held in the club’s headquarters as a prelude to a now traditional and also most massive beach handball Croatian tournament. At the before mentioned conference members of “BHC Detono Zagreb” presented the tournament program and expressed their expectations.

Few days ago awards for the best teams and athletes of City of Zagreb were held in the concert hall Vatroslav Lisinski. The laureates were elected in all categories. Just to remind, BHC Zagreb was also nominated in two categories, for the best men and women team in season 2012. Unfortunately for our team, nomination was only thing what our club won. The Zagreb rowers, which won the silver Olympic medal were declared for the team of the year and in women's category the best team was women bowling club Zagreb.
