The Pan American beach handball Championship will be held  at the luxurious Yacht and Golf Resort, located only 14 km from the capital Asuncion's center and along the River Paraguay. The tournament will be held in February (18.2.-23.2.2014.) Best teams on Panamerican games will qualify to the World  beach handball championships, which will be held in another South American country. World championships will be held at the beginning of the August in Brazil.

Almost two months were passed since last whistle was made on beach handball tournament held in Colombian Cali during the world games. But, still- it is worth to watch the interview with the Joachim Gossow, Chief executive officer (CEO) of International world games assocciation. It is nice to see that the main people of this organization are aware of the success that beach handball made two months ago.

At the 2012 EHF Congress, member of the Beach Handball Commission (BC), Ole R. Jørstad, was elected as the Chairman of the technical commission, and following his predecessor, also took his place on the EHF Executive Committee.
