Next weekend (1st and 2nd of June) will be held European beach handball tournament Masters finals. For the first time organization of this tournament is going to take place in Croatia, in Umag. There will compete the best 8 teams in both competition.
Croatia will be represented by teams from Detono Zagreb, current European champions and for the first time teams from KRP Sokol. In men competition there are also going to compete: Budaors Beach Stars and Salgotarjani Strandepitok BHC (Hungary) , BHT Damy Rade Inowroclaw (Poland) , Club Balonmano Playa Alcala (Spain) , Albena Beach Bulgaria (Switzerland) and BHC SKKM-Ekatarinodar (Russia). In women competition, beside Sokol and Detono there will also compete: Budaors Beach Girls and OVB – Beach Girls (Hungary) , Beachqueens (Switzerland) , KKS Polonia Kepno-Wroclaw (Poland) , BM Playa Mias G-7 (Spain) te Paksoft Camelot (Netherlands).
This is going to be the hardest Masters ever, because of all the excellent players that are also playing for their national teams. We are coming with our best team, so we hope that with our game will do our best to present Zagreb and Croatia, said David Henigman, Detono Zagreb’s young goalkeeper. Masters will be held on the courts of Stella Maris.
