After two rounds of Croatian beach handball tour held in Čakovec and Zagreb, the caravan moved to the third city– Umag. At the courts of Stella Maris, BH players played its final tournament whic was part of the Croatian tour. Both women's teams have finished their performance in the quarterfinal, where they lost against BHC Dubrava (Detono Zagreb) and KRP Sokol (Chemo profili Zagreb). With this defeat,  girls ended the season on the third place of the Croatian BH tour.

The most prominent individuals within Detonators  were Babun (55 goals, 7 flops) and Jakopec (42 goals).  The team Chemo Profili Zagreb was led by Gojavić (48 goals) and Družinec (36 goals). Also, a large number of missed shots could be noticed, which is mainly  the characteristic of women's teams, where goalkeepers  still have a bigger role compared to the male category, but in this case the number of misses of  Chemo profili Zagreb could be  explained by inexperienced, young players which were mainly part of the team.

For the third time at the row, men teams  fought against each other in the quarterfinals, where  Chemo profili  Zagreb managed quite bedevil against Detonators and they were defeated after the shoot out. The most efficient players were  Jurić, who played a fantastic season, which scored 89 goals and Valentaković whoch scored  58 goals. Our goalkeepers tandem contributed with 45 saves (Henigman 40, Totić 5). In „Chemo“ team Madjerčić scored 47 goals  and Slovenec scored additional 38 goals.

The next stage took place in the Hungarian Balaton, where the teams passed without special success. The boys, after the initial success against SKKM Ekaterinodar, had to sign capitulation in the quarterfinals against opponent Hungarian team Budaors Beach stars. Rarity of the game was that all Chemo players missed the goal  in a shoot out. Best in the ranks were Fantić with 50 goals and Hranilović  with amazing 9 steals (nearly two per game), while the goalkeeper Jugović did a great job with an average of nearly 8 defenses per game.

Girls were more successful than the male team, but they were one step short to the medal. Babun (66), Kelava (84 field goal, 29 flops?) and Domjančić (37 goals) led the list of scorers, but the true leader of the team was Žgela, which had an excellent realization percentage (28 hits, only 4 failures) with amazing number of  assists (20 in total). Great valorization coefficient.

The last tournament of the season was played in the Netherlands by men team Chemo profili Zagreb. Excellently organized tournament with a lot of strong  teams was not well opened, losing against Polish team Damy Rade, smoothly and fully deserved. As the tournament wore on, Chemo team improved the game quality, but in the end  Hungarians again (Beach Stars Budaors) were better after a shoot-out. At the tournament, the most prominent players were Mirazović (56 goals, 19 assists) and especially Jugović  with excellent percentage of the saves (7.8 per game).

This is the end of our  statistical season overview, nearly  in which all the goals were accomplished, although it remains regret because of missed opportunities of  Chemo Profili Zagreb to qualify to the Masters. Also, I hope that the next time the younger players, which played almost all tournaments this year, will take responsibility even more in the  upcoming season.

To all readers and beach handball fans, I wish a happy New year and succesfull beach handball season.
