Few days ago we have recevied couple of new informations from the EHF considering upcoming European club Beach handball championship – Masters, which will be played in Fuengirola, Spain. Judging by the new informations, most of the things was expected but there are also a few surprises.

Eventhought we already knew the groups(they are always based on the same principle), now it's official.

So, our women team is placed in a group with always unpleasant Hunagian team OVB Beach girls, Greek team Avant garde, which we played against last time two years ago in Masters final, Greeks have won. Last team in the group is Swiss team Beachqueens, they are a mystery, we don't know what to expect from them.

In the other group teams that will be looking for their first two spots are: Bumblebee Wildeshausen, defending champions Swiss team Playadettes, Wrozlaw from Poland and wild card Spain team DyE Malaga. Wild card team is a surprise because everyone thought that girls from Malaga team will get the chance to win the title on the home court after being runner up last year in Portugal and that brings even more mystery over the DyE Malaga team.

Men competition was never stronger. Team like Axa beach stars, Detono Zagreb, SKKM Ekaterinodar(Russia), Chemo profili Zagreb, Neerstedt(Germany), Damy Rade(Poland), Panaitolikos(Greece) are all very respected teams with lot of success in Beach handball. Even the wild card team from Spain BM Playa Ciudad de Malaga has a lot of history and good results in Spanish club championship- Asebap Tour.

Croatian two team will be in separated groups. Defending champions – Detono Zagreb will play against teams from Poland, Greece and Spain, while Chemo profili will be looking for their place in semi final against Hungarians, Russians and Germans – in at first glance tougher group.

In couple of days we’ll make a detail review and analyze all of the participants of this year Masters.
